YOUR CHOICEYOU CONTROL
NON-ESSENTIAL COOKIES.

RDE uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the store, keep it secure and, where you allow them, personalise your experience, understand how the site is used and support marketing. Our cookie banner lets you accept, decline or manage non-essential cookies.

01

WHAT ARE COOKIES?

Cookies are small pieces of data stored on or accessed from your device when you use a website. Websites can also use similar storage or access technologies. They can help a site work correctly, remember choices, measure use and provide personalised or marketing features.

In this policy, we use “cookies” as a convenient term for cookies and similar technologies.

02

HOW RDE USES THEM

REQUIRED

Essential to the store

These technologies are necessary for functions such as keeping the site secure, logging in, remembering your basket and completing checkout. Because they are required to provide the service you request, they cannot be switched off through the cookie preference controls.

PERSONALIZATION

Remembering your experience

These technologies can remember information about your actions and preferences so that your next visit can be more relevant or personalised. They are used only where permitted and, where required, after you choose to allow them.

MARKETING

Relevant communications

These technologies may be used by RDE and our partners, including Shopify, to support marketing, measure marketing activity and show relevant advertising on other websites. Where consent is required, they are not used for these purposes unless you allow them.

ANALYTICS

Understanding the site

These technologies help us understand how visitors interact with rde.bike so we can identify what works and where the experience can be improved. Where consent is required, analytics technologies are used only after you allow them.

03

SHOPIFY

RDE is powered by Shopify. Shopify uses cookies and similar technologies to provide and secure the ecommerce platform and to support features made available to RDE.

RDE currently uses Shopify Network Intelligence. Certain Shopify features can use information from interactions with our store and Shopify’s network to improve services, personalisation and marketing. Shopify may be responsible for some processing in its own right. More information is available through Shopify’s privacy information and the privacy controls presented on our store.

04

YOUR CHOICES

When the RDE cookie banner is shown, you can accept non-essential cookies, decline them, or choose Manage preferences to control Personalization, Marketing and Analytics separately.

You can change your choices later using the cookie or privacy preference controls available on rde.bike. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place lawfully before you changed your choice.

You can also control cookies through your browser, although blocking required cookies may prevent parts of the store from working correctly.

05

OTHER SERVICES

We may add or change service providers as RDE develops. For example, we may introduce additional analytics or marketing services in the future. We will configure technologies that require consent so they are subject to the appropriate privacy choices, and we will update this policy or our Privacy Policy where necessary.

This policy does not state that a particular future service is active until it has actually been introduced.

06

CHANGES & CONTACT

We may update this Cookie Policy when our website, technology, suppliers or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published here with an updated date.

For questions about cookies, privacy or how RDE handles personal information, email hello@rde.bike.
